Red Echo

I’ve finished the laserfingers. That was a lot of work: all the parts and stitches are small, and articulation is tricky. I made a mistake when I assembled the second battery pack, too, and had to carefully scrape away all the epoxy so I could re-solder a connection. But it’s all done now, and oh what fun it is to shoot laser beams out of your finger tips.

Now it’s time for bed, a book, and a little glass of bourbon.

  1. Sooo…wanna help me make a spotlight for my disco ball sometime soon?

Or should we finish the theramin first?

  2. Actually, I have the perfect thing for a disco ball spotlight: it’s a little cluster of LEDs with a standard screw-in bulb base. It’s not super bright, but it’s very directional, and makes very little heat; for that little disco ball it should be perfect.

  3. A cluster of LEDs would work like the lasers and you can get some very bright LEDs and even varying colors

    Sounds like fun

Now we just have to cure that bourbon kick and get you on to Remy Martin or other nice brandies !
