I'm usually using about 170 - 175 as I'm probably 6" shorter than you are.
I find that's plenty long and since they are so short and cut so deep they turn the instant you think about it.
And they're stable when just cruising which is nice.

I don't ski nearly as hard as I used to. I tore the meniscus in my knee 2 years ago playing hockey so even just cranking ski's hard is touch on my knees now.
My 210's were when I was a lot younger and skied a lot harder than I do today.

Yeah, the Völkl 191s I picked up last year are parabolics. It's an amazing, unmistakable difference - I haven't touched my old straight-sided 205cm K2s since. But they're stiff and really long, for parabolics, and I get bogged down whenever I follow my friends off into the black diamond terrain.

210 cm is pretty long, though you're about as tall as I am, if I remember correctly. What size parabolics did you switch to?

You tried out any of the new parabolics ?
Thy are awesome to ski on. Great on long flat cruising runs and pretty damn nice in the steep & deep stuff.
I dont do much in the way of moguls any more (knees are too banged up to take it) so I've not done muc with them there.
They turn really quick and are very stable at speed (almost as nice as my old 210's were)
